Descripción
The valvular part of the bladder so increased as to form a considerable tumor, projecting into the cavity of the bladder. The prostate is also enlarged. This tumor had been the occasion of several severe suppressions of urine, and had often been the cause of a failure in drawing off the water with the catheter, by that instrument most probably passing into it’s substance fo deep as to hinder the urine entering it’s openings. The dark line paffing along the tumor from the urethra was probably made by this means, but now collapsed.
